Glass Bead is used in variety of applications including deflashing IC package lead frames, cleaning of electrical contractors and aeronautical components, cleaning of greasy motor casings, finishing of decorative items and deburing of non-ferrousdie castings or plastic mouldings and also used for cleaning and shot peening aircraft turbine blades or other critical components.
Glass Bead Shot is a unique and popular air blasting abrasive for cleaning and conditioning surfaces. It is manufactured from high-grade glass, annealed in its spherical shape to equalize internal stresses and resist fracture. In addition, the inherent strength of glass bead is such that it can survive multiple impacts, allowing for economies of continuous recycling.
